James Mazo

James Mazo, M.D., Occupational Health Physician

Dr. Mazo received his M.D. degree from Boston University 1993. He completed his residency in Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1988. Dr. Mazo completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Pennsylvania State University, College of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine and General Surgery. Dr. Mazo has been Medical Director for St. Francis Occupational Health for the past 8 years.



Michele Stevens

Michele Stevens, Clinic Manager, Graduate Nurse.

Michelle’s LinkedInMs. Stevens received her Associates of Science degree in Nursing from Goodwin College in 2007. She is a Certified occupational hearing conservationist, and holds certifications in Breath Alcohol Testing, CPR, NIDA Drug Screen collections, and NIOSH spirometry testing. Ms. Stevens also received a Certificate in Workplace Safety from Springfield Technical Community College, Center for Business and Technology. Ms. Stevens received an Associates degree in Business from Greater Hartford Community College in 1991. She has been an accomplished Site Manager for 16 years. Ms. Stevens previously worked as an assistant case manager for Healthdirect, dealing with workers compensation cases.

Carol Stumbras, Physician Assistant

Ms. Stumbras graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2011 achieving a Masters in Health Science in Physician Assistant studies. She comes to Saint Francis Hospital with a background in Orthopedic Surgery. Ms. Stumbras is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the Veteran’s Caucus of the AAPA. She is also a volunteer and member of the Eastern Division of the  National Ski Patrol.

Theresa Kilduff

Theresa Kilduff, L.P.N

Ms. Kilduff has twenty-five years of nursing experience. She is a Certified Breath Alcohol Technician and is a Certified Hearing Conservationist. Ms. Kilduff has been with Occupational Health since 1997.
