Jeff Schlosser

Chief Executive Officer, Connecticut Occupational Medicine Partners

Mr. Schlosser has served in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer of COMP, LLC since 2018.  Additionally, he serves as the Administrative Director for Saint Francis Hospital, Department of Occupational Health and as CEO of Medworks, LLC., a clinic joint venture between Saint Francis Hospital & Bristol Hospital.  Mr. Schlosser has over 20 years of healthcare management experience, most recently spending four years as an Operations Director at Concentra, where he had operational leadership responsibilities for three occupational and urgent care clinics. Previously, he was the Connecticut Area Manager for Fresenius Medical Care, where he managed all aspects of seven outpatient dialysis centers in Northern Connecticut.

Mr. Schlosser holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering, both from Western New England College in Springfield, MA

Christine Ouellette

Collections Manager

Ms. Ouellette received her Certification in Medical Assisting from Morse School Of Business. She has been with Saint Francis Hospital since 2007. Ms. Ouellette is responsible for developing a networking relationship with workers’ compensation carriers, managed care organizations and employers to facilitate timely payment of Occupational Medicine clinic charges. She manages and works in conjunction with a Collection Specialist team to insure accuracy and timeliness of payments. Ms. Ouellette is responsible for the Windsor office of Saint Francis Occupational Health and Medworks in Newington. Ms. Ouellette has over 21 years of collections experience.

Kelly Shepard

Billing & Collections Specialist

Ms. Shepard has been with Saint Francis since 2011 and joined COMP, LLC in 2013. She has been involved in health claims and medical billing since 2002. She is responsible for both our Torrington and South Windsor locations.

Mignel Gonzalez

Business Development Associate

Mr. Gonzalez has worked for Medworks, LLC since May of 2000. He is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts specifically for Medworks in Newington. Mr. Gonzalez also assists his co-workers in performing Spanish Interpretation, clerical, and courier duties. He is a Certified Breath Alochol Technician and a Certified Drug Screen Collector. Mr. Gonzalez completed EMT training in 2010. He is well versed in Occupational Medicine services and helps clients reduce workers’ compensation costs. Carol Huff

Billing & Collection Specialist

Carol joined COMP, LLC in 2015. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years holding positions both in billing and as a Nursing Assistant. Carol is responsible for both our Bristol & Hartford locations.

Mike Matteo

Senior Business Development Manager

Mike joined Connecticut Occupational Medicine Partners, LLC in January of 2015.  In his role as the Senior Business Development Manager he manages all new business opportunities for our network of seven clinics as well as oversees the account management department.  Mike has over 15 years of sales and territory management experience specializing in commercial insurance sales as well as workers compensation.  You can reach Mike at 860-202-0415 or email at mmatteo@stfranciscare.org.

Laurie Kimble

Billing and Collections Specialist

Laurie is an experienced billing and insurance specialist in a multitude of areas, spanning critical care, prosthetics and orthotics, gynecology, orthopedics, hospice, and workers’ compensation, and has a certificate in medical coding.  She has a degree in philosophy from Wheaton College in Norton, MA, and a background in human services.  In her present role, she remains current with theWorkers’ Compensation Guidelines of Connecticut and works to maximize collaboration on claims between employers, patients, and insurance carriers when an employee is injured at work.
